## Product description
Niche Slim is cast together with its light channel in one piece — no cement grout joints, where mould and limescale build up over time. The slim edge profile gives a clean fit against tile, travertine, porcelain stoneware or microcement, and the velvety matte Silk Touch finish is pleasant to the hand and resists fingerprints.
The light line sits behind a matte diffuser: individual LED points are invisible, and the glow reads as one even contour. A factory-moulded slope of 1.0–1.5° on the lower shelf carries water drops to the edge instead of letting them pool — important for a recess inside a shower zone.
## Construction
  * Seamless monolith. The recess and frame are cast as one piece — no joints where moisture and dirt can collect.
  * Slim Edge profile. A thin, minimal frame for a clean fit against any wall finish.
  * Concealed Soft Glow lighting. A dimmable LED strip behind a matte diffuser, IP65 — safe to install in a wet zone.
  * Sloped lower shelf. A 1.0–1.5° factory-moulded slope drains water drops; needs no maintenance.

The same recess in daylight and in the evening, when the LED lighting becomes the main light source.

### How long does NICHE SLIM take?
The item is made to order, with a lead time of 20 working days from receipt of payment. Once it is ready, shipment follows within 2 working days: collection from Kirishi, 32 Prospekt Pobedy, or a carrier of your choice at its own rates.
### What is the item made of?
Acrylic solid surface — aluminium trihydrate in a PMMA acrylic resin binder, with no styrene. The material is non-porous, coloured throughout, absorbs no moisture and releases no volatile compounds at domestic temperatures.
### Can the size, colour or lighting be changed?
Yes — every item is made for a specific order, so dimensions, finish and lighting are agreed before production starts. Changes affect the price and are confirmed when the invoice is issued.
### What should I do about a scratch or a chip?
Solid surface is restored by sanding without removing the item. Light scratches on a matt finish can be taken out with fine-grit sanding; deep damage and gloss finishes are better left to a specialist.
### What is the warranty and can the item be returned?
The warranty period is 2 years, with an additional 8-year limited warranty on structural integrity. The service life is 10 years. Items with a manufacturing defect are returned or exchanged at our expense. Items of satisfactory quality are returnable only by prior written agreement, with the original packaging intact and at the buyer's expense. Made-to-measure items cannot be returned or exchanged in the absence of a defect.
