The board is a solid surface monolith: a non-porous surface that does not absorb moisture, juices or dyes (beetroot, wine, berries) and does not hold grease. The absence of pores rules out a breeding ground for bacteria and odours, and the board itself does not swell or crack from contact with water.
The handle insert is stainless AISI 304 steel with a vacuum PVD coating: the layer is bonded to the steel at a molecular level, resists scratches and does not tarnish over time. The ALBELA logo is laser-engraved, and the joint between metal and stone is seamless.
- Juice groove. A milled channel around the perimeter keeps liquids from running off the counter while cutting.
- Two-sided board. Suited to both intensive cutting and serving — flip it to either side.
- Anatomical handle. A comfortable grip for carrying steaks, appetisers, bruschetta and cheese boards.
- Hanging ring. The hole in the handle fits a kitchen rail system or a bathroom hook.

How long does URBAN LINE take?
The item is made to order, with a lead time of 20 working days from receipt of payment. Once it is ready, shipment follows within 2 working days: collection from Kirishi, 32 Prospekt Pobedy, or a carrier of your choice at its own rates.
What is the item made of?
Acrylic solid surface — aluminium trihydrate in a PMMA acrylic resin binder, with no styrene. The material is non-porous, coloured throughout, absorbs no moisture and releases no volatile compounds at domestic temperatures.
Can the size, colour or lighting be changed?
Yes — every item is made for a specific order, so dimensions, finish and lighting are agreed before production starts. Changes affect the price and are confirmed when the invoice is issued.
What should I do about a scratch or a chip?
Solid surface is restored by sanding without removing the item. Light scratches on a matt finish can be taken out with fine-grit sanding; deep damage and gloss finishes are better left to a specialist.
What is the warranty and can the item be returned?
The warranty period is 2 years, with an additional 8-year limited warranty on structural integrity. The service life is 10 years. Items with a manufacturing defect are returned or exchanged at our expense. Items of satisfactory quality are returnable only by prior written agreement, with the original packaging intact and at the buyer's expense. Made-to-measure items cannot be returned or exchanged in the absence of a defect.
