Stone that
holds the light
Basins, bathtubs and countertops cast in-house from acrylic stone. The light is not attached from outside — it lives inside the material.

We do not make sanitary ware,
we make light
ALBELA has rethought the way artificial stone is worked: the monumentality of stone and the physics of light in a single piece. Our aim is to prove that light-composite products of world standard can be designed and made in Russia.
Every piece rests on an understanding of polymer chemistry. Our base in Kirishi, our laboratories and SAFIT Group experience let us rebuild the classic casting technology: we run the process from synthesising the binder formulation to the fine tuning of the material's light transmission.

polyester
Most Russian manufacturers work on modified polyester resin containing styrene. We cast on pure acrylic — and here is what that changes.

| Parameter | ALBELA · acrylic resin (PMMA) | Polyester stone with styrene |
|---|---|---|
| Base | +100% acrylic resin, styrene-free | –polyester resin + styrene |
| Styrene emission | +none | –possible, increases when heated |
| UV resistance | +does not yellow | –yellows over time |
| Thermoforming | +deep draw, stable geometry | –limited, risk of cracking |
| Seams and joints | +monolithic, visually seamless | –seam appears over time |
| Repairability | +fully restorable by sanding | –limited |
| Impact toughness | +higher, more ductile | –lower, more brittle |
We cast the stone and make things from it
The sheet is cast on our own site in Kirishi, where it is also CNC-cut, thermoformed, bonded into a monolith and polished. No bought-in sheet, no third-party pieces.
