A round countertop basin in acrylic stone with vertical fluting and LED lighting hidden inside it
Vertigo sits on the countertop and works as an object in its own right. The bowl is cast in solid surface acrylic stone and its side is built up from vertical ribs: they set a rhythm and shift the play of light and shadow through the day, even with the lighting off.
The LED elements are hidden deep in the fluting. Light escapes through the gaps between the ribs — diffuse, with no glare point and an even glow along the lower edge. In the evening the bowl visually lifts off the countertop; it is bright enough as a night scene to leave the main light off.
- Seamless stone. A non-porous surface: it absorbs neither moisture nor household chemicals, feels good to the touch and can be restored by sanding.
- Light inside the fluting. The LED module is hidden deep in the ribs, IP65 rated, 12 V, with the power supply included.
- Any tap. The vertical fluting works equally well with brushed gold, matt black and chrome finishes.
